In The Community
As a local volunteer group we strive to help our community as much as possible.
We regularly provide talks and demonstrations to local schools, community groups and businesses to offer support and guidance in what to do in the event of an emergency.
We are more than happy to provide CPR and AED refresher training and for the younger ones, what to expect if they find someone poorly and have to call 999.
If you are interested in booking a talk or demonstration on the work we do, please get in touch and we'll be happy to help.
Helping The Community
Early Years Education
Our volunteers are on hand to jelp teach our younger community what to do in an emergency.
We could visit your setting to discuss with the children what to do if they discover someone unwell. Go through how to dial 999 and what happens during the call and how to provide CPR.
Village Groups
Most phone boxes these days have been replaced by Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) which are crucial in the event of a cardiac arrest.
We can bring a demonstrator device to talk to your village, community or church group on how to use an AED and provide basic life support (BLS).
Public Events
We're always looking to share the work of our volunteers, teach lifesaving skills and help raise funds for our group.
If you're holding an event please get in touch to see if we can hold a stall or set up at your event.
Please note that we do not provide first aid cover for events.
Fundraising
If you're holding an event or running a marathon and would like to raise funds for us, please get in touch.
